Characters: Kain Highwind and Daenerys Targaryen
World | Location: Underdrome
Date | Content: Not long after they talked, Dany comes along to claim one of her babies. Kain meanwhile angsts over having to give the dragon up.
Rating: TBD, likely not high at all.
"Drogon." Kain spoke the name quietly, noticing how the small dragon responded to the sound of his name. There could be no doubt to it- that girl was the caretaker of this dragon. He'd seen how Drogon reacted to her voice. So this 'purpose' he'd found for himself... might well be already coming to an end.
With a sigh, Kain moved a hand to lightly stroke Drogon. It had taken a while to get to the point where the dragon would even let him do this much. He really was a moody one, difficult even for an experienced dragoon to handle. Kain knew deep down that he was no substitute for the one Drogon had bonded with. That was just the way it was with dragons. So despite his reluctance, Kain resigned himself to what had to be done for the dragon's sake. There was nothing to do now but wait for Dany's arrival.
