WHO: Makoto Kino, Chloe and Open
LOCATION: Disney Castle (At the White Rose Florist)
TIME: Afternoon
WHAT: Makoto is looking for a nice place to visit in between things when she finds more than she bargained for. It's one thing to break up with her in a cowardly fashion, it's another to do it just so you can flirt with dozens of other girls!
RATING: PG-13 - Violence XD
With everything that had been going on this senshi needed a little repose. Things had been strange since the moment she had arrived, with all the heartless, her missing friends, and everything. At least, even if she wasn't fond of traveling by gummi ship she was more comfortable with it by now. She had debated inviting the others along... but it was just going to be a short trip so .. maybe next time.
Today, she was just going to relax and take in the sites. No business, no worries, no stress. To think that just a few heartless could have depressed so many people..
She shook her head to remove all thoughts of the last few days. No today was about one thing.. and that was flowers. She headed into the florist, and was at first delighted by what she saw.... That was, until she recognized one of the employees.
Makoto had missed him at first, since he was surrounded by all those girls, but sure enough it was the jerk who'd swept her off her feet one moment then dumped her the next. Sure the shortlived relationship had been due to divine intervention (Cupid) but something in her snapped when he saw her flirting with all those other girls. The man was a womanizer, plain and simple! Stomping on her heart was probably something he did to others on a regular basis. The more she thought about it the angrier she became.
Balling up her fist, and gritting her teeth she shouteed at Chloe, "No wonder you wanted to break up, you already had plenty of girlfriends waiting for you on your own world!" She reached for the nearest object and lobbed a ceramic cat at Chloe's head. Her anger swelled as she found other gift items to turn into weapons. The passal of girls scattered as they tried to avoid getting hit themseves. "You should know better than to trifle with a girl's heart!"

I like being stodgy! There wouldn't have been a problem in the first place if you didn't flirt with everything that moves.
"Or was it?" Maybe it hadn't been a misunderstanding at all. Perhaps Makoto had been completely in the right.

Though with the heartless invasion and then Makoto trashing things even he had to admit that had probably put a strain on the business.
"you aren't exactly the kind of person I would confide those kinds of things in."
Not that he really confided in anyone. Inner thoughts and feelings were better kept to oneself.

"What "kind-of-person" am I?" He asked as if he'd been affronted by that statement. Not that he enjoyed sharing his issues between himself and his fiancee either but Chloe had seen plenty of that over the network orin person.

"The kind of heartless person who doesn't understand other people. You only care about what you can get from some one. People are entirely disposable to you."

Cough. Well, Chloe nailed that one on the head.
Ciel just hadn't expected Chloe to be quite so .. up front with the description. Sadly, that was more or less how Ciel viewed himself. Everyone were pawns in his game, weren't they?
Just ignore the times he went out of his way to help other people such as Elizabeth, and Chloe.The nature of the game had slightly altered here.... being cut off from the queen and her missions & his true objectives but that didn't change the fact that he was still that person. That person who would stop at nothing to destroy those that had wronged his family and himself. Being stuck here was beginning to grate on him...
He really couldn't think of a proper comeback so instead.. he closed his eye and look downward for a moment before looking back up at Chloe. A smugness crept into his features as he donned an expression that had been all but retired in this series of worlds. "As long as the king survives....". The look he was giving the other eluded to a darker side of the boy's nature.
The little discussion had Ciel questioning whether he was doing enough to obtain his goals. He'd focused on preparing for a long term stay... with that in place it washigh time he put some other plans into action.

Chloe stood and walked close enough to Ciel to give him a rough bonk on the head.
"You aren't a King you're a boy."
The 'bonk' was a reminder of that.
"It wouldn't hurt you to act like one some time."
Anyone with that kind of thinking, that thought of him as a pawn rather than as a person was no one he would ever work for or associate with. Which... kind of betrayed his earlier argument. He didn't really believe Ciel was as cold-hearted as he wanted everyone to believe. Chloe had only said that out of the frustration of Ciel picking at him again.
"Why do you even say things like that?"

"It's a metaphor, you dolt.." The angry expression returned and the intensity of his gaze diminished.
"Tch-" He retorted. Not interested in answering Chloe's question it was his turn to evade.
"Just see that this mess is cleaned up..." And stay out of my business... and never strike me again. Chloe was truly pressing his luck. The young Earl quietly retreated to the backroom. That image he projected, he needed to embrace.. or how would he ever accomplish his goals. He... had some thinking to do....
