Looking for the perfect gift

WHO: Makoto Kino, Minako Aino, Rei Hino (If she wants), Ami Mizuno, Hotaru Tomoe, and OPEN; (Though if Usagi showed up the girls would have to think fast to cover up what they were doing)
LOCATION: Traverse Town
TIME: Friday
WHAT: After Ami suggested that the friends pull their resources to buy a party dress for Usagi, Makoto rounded up the others to go on a shopping trip.
RATING: G - PG (Lol I can't imagine it needing more than that)

It was now only one day before Usagi's birthday party and the girls needed to find just the right dresses for themselves and one for Usagi especially. Not wanting to risk being late, Makoto had arrived to the first store early. She debated whether it was better to wait inside or out before deciding to enter the building. She could always keep an eye on the front window to see when her friends arrived and this way she could start pulling potential dresses.

This birthday needed to be a really special one, what with Usagi being apart from her family and friends that were still back home. She always managed to make the girls smile, and keep them in good spirits... this was an ideal time to try and do the same for her and to give something back.

Makoto slowly perused the racks, looking for anything that seemed to scream "Usagi".

"This one looks perfect!" She exclaimed, latching on to a pink ballgown with a sweetheart top... but would the other girls agree? She grabbed the dress by the hanger and pull it off the rack anyway. The other girls would be welcome to pick their own suggestions and then they'd figure out which was the best somehow. Moving back toward the window, she ducked behind a display.. just in case the birthday girl would happen to walk by.... she certainly didn't want to spoil the whole secret!

"Pretty..."

Hotaru whispered in a kind of hushed awe. It was pink, one of Usagi-chan's favorite colors, and with the beading it looked very regal.

"It's like something a princess would wear."

She looked at the other senshi.

"Do you think she would like it?"

Ami looked over the dress with careful consideration. "It's certainly a very bright pink, which certainly suits her."

But, ugh. That meant that Ami would have to try it on...such a loud color.

"I think it would be most efficient if we were all to find a few and narrow down our choices that way?"

"It certainly does seem like something she would like, and it really would make her stand out of a crowd, which would be a point" Minako said while still looking it over, she still wasn't 100% sure though until they looked at more.

"How about we all pick one and go from there and right now we have one choice"

Makoto nearly jumped at the sudden arrival of her friends but surprise swiftly turned to elation. it had been a while since they'd all gathered together like this. It was a pity the birthday girl couldn't very well join them.

She listened to what each of them had to say before agreeing with them," Yeah, that's what i was thinking too. if we fan out it'll make it a lot easier to search the entire store too."
