Hades Cup - Round 2

Man, what an upset! The people you think have a chance to win end up being the losers leaving the tournament, the Sailor Senshi were Sailor Zero’s, the ones with massive dark powers end up chickening out of a win, and the people I had pegged as complete wimps ended up moving on to round two? How did that happen?!
Heh, at least this has proven to be a more exciting tournament than I expected it to be! Keep it up and you might just win yourselves a trophy!
OOC RULES
One lucky bugger gets to fight this guy instead of a normal competitor since some how things became uneven and a player would have been left out otherwise.

A simple looking boring heartless… WITH AWESOME SUPER POWERS!
You have the option to win or lose like everyone else it is just that you will be fighting a heartless controlled by Hades instead of a real contestant.
Cheating you say? Well, yes it probably is, but this is Hades tournament and he does that.
And as always if you don’t respond before the next match (in a weeks time) your character will be dropped from the competition.

Sitting and thinking to himself, he was pushed and shoved from side to side while everyone was starting to get riled up. Creatures screamed and roared, throwing drinks and food around. When he was finally pushed from his seat and onto the ground, Terra decided to act. He stood up and summoned his keyblade, speaking loud enough for everyone to hear him over the creatures screaming, "Everyone, calm down!"
The Tournament
Agni vs. Allen
no subject
Oh who was he kidding he knew in this fight, nothing was easy. Keeping his eyes closed he tried to focus. he had always wondered why Kanda did this and he notice it was kind of relaxing and a nice thing to get thoughts into your head. So, choosing this time to think, he thought about his plan.
He knew that he had no clue who he was up against, so he didn't know what they could do, he knew that since the last match his abilities and physical abilities as a fighter were to be questionable. All of these put together made him think maybe it was best that he relied on his cowl to move him somewhat this fight, he probably needed it.
With this thought placed firmly in his mind he activated his innocence, standing there and simply waiting for his opponent to arrive.

He gave his thanks to the Gods for seeing him through so far, and vowed to continue performing to his fullest. He needed to keep in good condition, so when his skills were called on again he would be prepared for anything. Breaking out of this state, he decided it was best not to leave his opponent waiting any longer than he had.
Striding out into the area once more, he spared a smile and a wave to the crowd in case any of his friends were here to watch then he moved closer to Allen. He couldn't recall whether the two had spoken or not before so he decided to do the courteous thing and introduce himself. " I'm Agni, Khanasama to Prince Soma Asman Cadart. Let us both give it our all in this competition," Then he added a bow. "I'm looking forward to seeing what you are capable of."
no subject
He made sure to keep up his own politeness as he smiled and made sure he bowed back, wondering if it was the custom for the man. "I'm Allen Walker. An Exorcist for the Black Order." Once the introductions were done and out of the way he kept the smile, getting into a battle stance.
"I'll enjoy getting to know your fighting skill"
no subject
With a nod of assent,"Shall we begin?"
Agni also donned a fighting stance. His right arm had been left wrapped up for the time being. He would only call upon it's strength should it be needed. His gift lay in this "right hand of God", and he certainly didn't wish to harm Allen anymore than was absolutely necessary. It would take a few exchanges or so to better understand his opponents methods and style.

Deciding it might be better not to remain a sitting duck Agni started to match Allen's pattern step for step, only mirroring it on the other side of the arena. Agni's attacks required him to get closer but he couldn't help but wish to see where Allen's actions would lead.
After a bit of circling, he would have to try and close in on Allen. He was faster than an average human, and right now he wasn't using his full speed.
no subject
So moving forward, he made his way towards him, to then spin around and kick him from an angle, hoping that this might cause him to flew towards the edge. He was only hoping anyway.
Ventus vs. Kanda
no subject
Allen had won his first match, now he was really looking forward to fighting him for the cup. Sure, it would be great if he beat the beansprout into a pulp but he just wanted the chance. A friendly brawl. He owed Allen a hit, maybe he would let Allen scar him like he had scarred him. It was too soon to be thinking about their fight so he moved, turning in the direction whoever he was fighting would come.
The only comment Kanda could say about this was he was grateful they finally put him against a guy. No more girls, please. Thank you.

Still, that was for the fight itself. Ven threw one last glance up at Hades' box, wondering what in the world he was planning, before going out into the ring. Like before he walked over to his opponent, a smile on his face as he held out his hand. All right, the guy looked a little... sour, maybe, but this was still just a friendly competition (at least until Hades messed with it). "Ready for the match? Good luck, I hope it's a good one."
Obi-wan vs. Heartless
no subject
He had a very strong feeling there was more to this than he could see, so he decided to test the heartless by sending out a telekinetic push.
no subject
Pushed backward by Obi-wan's telekinesis the heartless bobbed it's head and wiggled its antenna looking like any normal run of the mill heartless when confronted by a very confusing situation. Finally it decided on a course of action as the creature dropped down into the ground and skittered over to where a heart was standing. This too seemed like a typical heartless attack or at least it did until the heartless's giant claws shot up around the Jedi attempting to cage him in such a way that he could never escape.
no subject
"What in the blazes?" he breathed.
Could normal heartless always do that? He wasn't so sure...
"Let's see what else you can do, you sneak!"
And with that, he lunged towards the creature, aiming a wide, sweeping strike with his lightsaber at it.
no subject
The heartless faded back into the ground and retreated as quickly as it could to avoid the blade. Several feet away it reappeared again, standing and bobbing it's head. Gradually the creature's hands came together and a ball of fire formed between it's fingers. The lava bomb launched itself towards Obi-wan as the heartless happily danced. Surely this attack would be enough for it to gain a heart!
Yuuki vs. Aqua
no subject
For now, however, there was something much more important at hand. Namely, the next fight, and she wasted no time in calling her Keyblade to her hand. She wasn't done yet. Not by a long shot.
Nova vs. Tidus
no subject
Deciding not to give away what she was capable of prematurely, she once more walked out of the large doors and into the fighting area to await her competition.
If she could make it past this round, then maybe she'd get a chance to teach this Allen-guy a severe lesson not to meddle with her play things. If anyone was going to injure/
kill/bludgeonEagle Vision.. then it should be her.Trying to regain her composure she stood straight up and glanced at the opposite side of the ring.
no subject
These were the thoughts that had his eyes narrow in steely determination.
"Let's get this over with," He muttered softly, voice muted. Since he wasn't very familiar with Nova's fighting style beyond what he had seen when his match was over, he would have to be more careful.
no subject
.. But why should they stand on ceremony? If he didn't care who she was, why should she treat him any differently? "I'll make it as quick and painful as possible!" With that promise in mind, the girl leaned towards him like she was about to lunge forward only to completely disappeared, armor and all.
no subject
Holding up his sword much like a shield, he leaned forward too until he saw her disappear.
That caught him a bit by surprise, but he stayed in place, focused on using his time magic as soon as he needed to. He figured she would either attack from behind, or just out of his vision, so he waited, completely still, for any sign of movement.
no subject
Rather than attacking, the voice seemed to move again. it drew close to his left shoulder, then to the right, and to the front once more. Occasionally, Tidus could catch glimpses of her, but they never lasted for long. She wanted him to be unsure of what she was plotting and would delight in his confusion if he was unable to figure out how to approach this battle.
Nova was exceedingly fast herself, and not bound to ground, if one could trust their own ears. Sometimes the laughter emanated from the air, not from the space she would have occupied on the ground.
no subject
He listened for her, and he fell for her tactics at first, but soon he just stopped moving. He figured she wanted to upset him, and it was working, but he figured if he just didn't react then maybe she would get bored and finally mess up, giving him a chance to attack.
no subject
Maintaining her stance, she shouted,"Flame arrow!" Bands of fire wrapped about her, culminating into a fiery arrow and shooting out at her opponent.
There was no reason to leave him to deal with only one obstacle... she teleported to the other side of Tidus and thrust her blade toward his stomach. Would he dodge the flames or the weapon~?

Tidus seemed to use his momentum to lunge for a strike of his own. Making no attempt to stop him, Nova listened to the clang as the boy's sword bounced harmlessly off her pauldron. Why had he aimed for the most armored part of her anatomy anyway? Curiosity piqued, Nova swiftly drew backwards expecting some sort of foul play. Had his counter attack been meant only as a distraction?
"If you're going to keep resisting then I should double my efforts," She drew out another light blade then crossed the two merging them into one weapon. Together the two looked like an "x" with the handle still in the center. "I was afraid.. that I wouldn't have anyone to play with here.. but I guess I was wrong!"
Drawing back her arm, she flung the weapon at him.

The light blades careened past Tidus as he dodged once again, but there was a trick to it. They arced back like a boomerang to go in for another possible hit. She hadn't really expected him to try and grab it. That was certainly a bold move considering that it would have been extremely difficult to grab the central handle and not one of the four protruding blades.
Fortunately for him, her mind was leading her elsewhere. The weapon phased out before he had a chance to possibly maim himself. As he ran, Nova decided to take her leave. There was no need to waste her time here when her true goals lay elsewhere. The trophy had never been what she desired.
When he next looked towards where she had been, Nova would be gone and this time she wasn't just toying with him.
