[ in the spirit of halloween, masane had gone out in costume and pestered the poor residents of traverse town for candy and other sweet treats. it's what the holiday was about, after all... or at least what it had become about. but that didn't matter! because as the day drew to a close she couldn't help but squeal in absolute delight. ]

[ halloween town! ]

[ she was finally going to get to go there and on the best possible night. she'd told everybody to meet up at the traverse town gummi docks at six, sharp, and as it drew closer to time she scrambled to get ready. it was almost a relief, actually, that she didn't have to bother with a costume... though she was still scared skeptical about the town choosing it. oh well--! yolo. ]

[ panting as she reached the dock, she meandered over to a bench to sit. hopefully everybody would arrive soon so they could start the fun! ]

It's alright. [ and she waves a hand dismissively. she's not going to hold it against you, eagle. for having been such a stickler about it she'd just made it on time. if anything, she should have been here earlier. she's just glad to see you besides! incoming hug! ] Nah. I'd have made everybody wait. We're all in this together, after all!

You're very kind. I still think I will apologize to the others for making them wait once we get on-board. They must all be very excited about the trip.

[Just as Eagle finished speaking and was about to join the others on the gummi ship a young girl rounded the corner and ran up to the pair. She was panting heavily and had to stop to catch her breath before she could speak. ]

Mako-chan... [Pant, pant. ]

She forgot her purse on the table when she left.

[Hotaru held the cute little purse close to her. Makoto had said she might join this group since it could be fun to buy a costume and participate in Halloween, but that would be difficult to do without any money. Hotaru had hurried over as fast as she could to catch up with her before they left.]

[ sebastian had spent his morning in the kitchen preparing all sorts of sweet halloween treats to sell throughout the remainder of the day. but, not only that, he'd also prepared a sizable platter for sampling to be handed out to potential customers. having done most all the hardest work himself sebastian stepped out, leaving the bakery in the hands of his more than capable staff. he did love halloween, after all, and he'd like to be able to enjoy it. ]

[ lilith had decided that she, too, deserved a break... and following sebastian she leapt onto his shoulder, giving a purr and a nuzzle. he set a hand to her head and pet her gently as he strode along. perhaps he should stop by halloween town... it should be most interesting today of all days. ]

[ heading towards the gummi docks he was almost run down by a young lady. he chuckled and stepped over to the small group forming. ] It looks like we've all got the same idea... [ he trailed off, looking between the three of them. ] Halloween Town.

[ no u eagle. ] I hope so. [ a beat. ] I mean... I know I am. I am a bit nervous about going there though. I have heard, uh, mixed things about it. [ and by mixed she means mostly bad or creepy stuff. lol. ] ...do you know about Halloween Town?

[ masane blinked and turned round to see a girl come jogging around the corner. ] I think that'cha might have beaten your friend here. I've not seen anybody come through here recently, ...well, ...us aside. [ she chuckles. ] Hey! ...you should join us. Or, ...her. It could be fun! [ tries to tempt her~ ] We're going to get ourselves some free candy!

[Eagle smiled at Sebastian when he arrived. ]

Since we are all heading in that direction you might as well join us.

[He hadn't met Sebastian before but why not? The host seemed more than willing to invite others along and he never minded meeting new people. That was actually something he found very fun!]

We can introduce ourselves on the way.

[Then to Masane's question. ]

I only know what I have heard of the place. It is supposed to be the home of the undead, where spirits and witches actually live and it is Halloween all year long. It sounds like a very spooky place, doesn't it?

[Eagle seems quite thrilled about it however. It might be a chance to face a little challenge!]

[Beat her here? She let that sink in before taking a final deep breath and straightening her stance. ]

I was so worried I would miss her.

[She blushed a bit at the sudden invitation. She didn't even know these people, oh, except Mr. Michaelis. Hotaru remembered meeting him during that strange mist incident. If he was going too it should be alright.]

I would have to wait for Makoto anyway, is it really alright if I came?

[Mokuba knew that Masane had invited a few other people... but... some of these guests weren't the ones he was expecting.]

Uh- Hi there everyone?

[Spying Eagle, and Masane he brightened up a bit. Eagle was a friend of his brother's after all!]

[In another few moments, Makoto showed up ready to go to Halloween Town to inspect the type of treats they might have on the other world. She thought about inviting the other girl's but it was such short notice that she'd refrained. Besides, recipes were really more her thing.

When she got to the gummi dock the growing crowd gave her pause]

Oh! I guess everyone had the same idea. What better place to celebrate the holiday than in the town named for it, right?

[Finally she was here! Hotaru walked over to her friend and handed her the forgotten purse. ]

You left this at the house when you left. I thought you might need it.

[Spying the familiar bag prompted a check of her own arm. She definitely didn't have one on her person.]

Oh my gosh! I can't believe I left it like that. I'm not usually that careless.

[She gladly accepted the purse]

[ ...hn. sebastian had planned on going in alone but this group could prove amusing. he smiled and gave eagle a nod. lilith, on the other hand, didn't seem pleased with her master's decision. she's not a people cat. ] I see no reason not to. [ and since it looked as though there are still people to be waiting for... might as well introduce himself now. ] I am Sebastian Michaelis. It's a pleasure. [ recognizes hotaru and makoto and gives each of them a smile. ] It's nice to see you two lovely ladies again. I hope that you've both been well.

[Looking around she caught a lot of familiar faces. She'd spoken to most of them before (albeit she was Sailor Jupiter at the time she tried to help Masane.. so..cough.. Masane wouldn't recognize her), but Eagle and her had talked about cute guys once! and she worked part time for Seb.. then of course Hotaru was a friend from her home world]

I'm Makoto Kino. [She answered and gave a light bow] it's nice to meet you. [She directed that bit towards Masane and Mokuba]

It's always more fun to celebrate in a group isn't it?

And I'm Mokuba Kaiba. you can just call me Mokuba. [In Japan people tended to lean toward using the family name for those they weren't already familiar with but in this place given names seemed to be the preference]

[ oh wow. look at the turn out. masane couldn't help but smile as she looked round the crowd that had gathered. she'd not expected this many people to show. granted, she didn't know everybody, but, hell, she wasn't opposed to making new friends. ] It's nice to meet you Makoto and yeah! I couldn't agree more. ...especially in a place like Halloween Town so the more the merrier! [ and it was then that she head mokuba. eeee! she hurries over there to give him a big hug. she's so happy to see you again, kiddo! ] Mokuba, hey!

[Leonardo smiled at the cat sitting so peacefully on Sebastian's shoulder. ]

[Ciel had stopped by the bakery to see Sebastian, only to find that his servant was out for the day. Naturally, he headed back to the gummi docks so that he could return to Disney Castle and tend to his business instead.. not that flowers were in high demand for Halloween but he could always find something to work on there.

He paused when he saw the crowd. Really? The wait for the gummi ships was going to be a long one wasn't it?]

[ ...leonardo. he recognizes that accent almost instantly. moving through the crowd sebastian steps over to him and smiles. ] It's alright, my Friend, you're not interrupting anything. [ not much doing at the moment. just a bit of waiting around, lol. falls silent and listens only to solemnly shake his head. I am afraid that I haven't see your furry companion. [ and he looks at lilith. ] ...my Dear, do you know anything about his apprentice? [ the cat looks a tad affronted at the question and so she looks aside. ] Lilith had spent the mornng with me. I don't think she'd gone to pester your friend... [ despite that being one of her pastimes. fufufu. ]

[It was so unlike Massie nawt to have plans for the holidays, but without her bffs she didn't know what to do. If she dressed up by herself it would seem ridiculous.. and how wasshe supposed to top her boy-girl party? The first one in Octavian Country Day history mind you? Halloween.. without someone to share it with was just like every other day.

With a huff, and a flip of her hair Massie stopped when she caught sight of the group by the docks.

It's like they were having a party and Massie block was not invited. Puh-lease, the thought was so unheard of. Everyone wanted her at their parties. She strode over there like she owned the place...just to find out what was going on]
