[ in the spirit of halloween, masane had gone out in costume and pestered the poor residents of traverse town for candy and other sweet treats. it's what the holiday was about, after all... or at least what it had become about. but that didn't matter! because as the day drew to a close she couldn't help but squeal in absolute delight. ]

[ halloween town! ]

[ she was finally going to get to go there and on the best possible night. she'd told everybody to meet up at the traverse town gummi docks at six, sharp, and as it drew closer to time she scrambled to get ready. it was almost a relief, actually, that she didn't have to bother with a costume... though she was still scared skeptical about the town choosing it. oh well--! yolo. ]

[ panting as she reached the dock, she meandered over to a bench to sit. hopefully everybody would arrive soon so they could start the fun! ]

[ and had it been because of masane i doubt she'd be all that upset. she's aware of her, uh, assets. she also knows she's not a small girl. circles an arm around sae as she buries her face in her back. asdfgh! he's coming. as the broom kicks to life and bolts forward masane lets out a muffled shriek. ] eheh. Yup! ...still in one piece. [ so far. ]

ahh! Forward. [ flails an arm at sae. ] Look out!

[Sae looked back just in time to see the dark building's facade looming up in front of them. ]

AAAHHHH!!

[They were going to crash! There was no way they could miss it!!

But Sae still pulled back on the broom in the vain hope the crash might be avoided. The broom lurched backwards flinging the pair back in to their 'seats' as it were as the broom climbed high in the sky... just scraping the siding on the building as it gained altitude. They missed? Oh wow!!]

We... did not collide! I can't believe we missed!!

/cue yakety sax!

[ and masane squeezes sae as she, too, screams. oh man! this is going to be her, what, fourth near death experience this evening! ]

...eeh.. alive? [ blink blink. ] We're alive! [ she starts to chuckle mindlessly. that was... that was awesome! now that they're not in danger anymore. ] Haha! take that, you Headless Freak!

[Hovering over the building they had nearly crashed directly into they were well and truly out of the reach of the horseman. Even a pumpkin thrown up at them would have trouble reaching them that high up. ]

That was really close...

[Sae can breath a sigh of relief!]

IT DOES. it's like LOL i'm still alive wat.

[ ...that horseman is such a tool. and he throws like a nancy! masane sticks her tongue out at him. ] Nyeh. [ after a few seconds she, too, is going to breath a sigh of relief. too close for comfort. ] ...yeah, you said it. [ another little chuckle. ] and thanks, y'know, for saving my ass back there. I'm Masane, by the way.
