[ in the spirit of halloween, masane had gone out in costume and pestered the poor residents of traverse town for candy and other sweet treats. it's what the holiday was about, after all... or at least what it had become about. but that didn't matter! because as the day drew to a close she couldn't help but squeal in absolute delight. ]

[ halloween town! ]

[ she was finally going to get to go there and on the best possible night. she'd told everybody to meet up at the traverse town gummi docks at six, sharp, and as it drew closer to time she scrambled to get ready. it was almost a relief, actually, that she didn't have to bother with a costume... though she was still scared skeptical about the town choosing it. oh well--! yolo. ]

[ panting as she reached the dock, she meandered over to a bench to sit. hopefully everybody would arrive soon so they could start the fun! ]

[Undertaker stands up, kind of shakily even now, and starts walking back to Icy's house. ]

[ as he stands up she reaches for him... because she's got half a mind to strangle him. she misses, though, and instead falls to her knees as she surrenders a pitiful cry. oh god. her insides feel like they're coming undone. she circles her arms around her middle as she doubles over. ] ...no I ...I didn't. I just ate a few. [ grits her teeth and hisses as she feels like she might keel over. ] I only ate a few.

[He's probably one of the few who would enjoy a candy like that anyway. Undertaker turns back and kneels down next to Masane long enough to pat her head.]

[ cursing under her breath she grabs at her wrist as she feels its power bolster her immunity. ] ...please help... [ a plea that, again, falls on deaf ears as her body ultimately gives in. the changes, however, are minimal... ]

[ as the pain intensifies masane's eyes lose their color and turn glassy. she lets out a low growl as maroon bands run up from her neck to right beneath them. ] ...tell me the name of the person this house belongs to! [ reaches for undertakers collar as she yanks him close. ]
