"...I really should of asked her to switch to video before I hung up." Sora softly laughed and scratched the back of his neck as he watched the various people leaving the station. A few minutes of watching them made him realize quickly that he had no idea what this Aqua lady even looked like! All he had to go on was that she had a very friendly sounding voice and that she had met him before... He wracked his brain for any memory at all of meeting a woman named Aqua, but he came up with a blank every time. "Well, I guess I'll just have to wait for her to find me...I wonder if she has a keyblade like Ven to..."

A stranger that looked like Roxas with a keyblade... and he wasn't a Nobody. This was going to be tough to figure out and he had a feeling that even when it was explained, he'd still be confused! He leaned back against the wall of the station and stared up at the clear sky thoughtfully. Still, It felt good to be home again, even if it is only for a short while.

As Aqua disembarked from her Gummi Ship, she immediately began to look around for any sign of Sora. That mop of brown hair couldn't be too hard to find... but eleven years was a long time, and Sora would have grown a great deal. Not to mention she was only getting more and more tired and disoriented than when she'd first arrived, making it hard to focus. Sleep had been precious in her time away and interrupted by Heartless more often than not, and here, she'd been too fixated on finding Ven to remember she needed it.

But of course, she spotted a familiar boy soon enough -- Sora. And as soon as she laid eyes on him, she could sense a powerful, shining heart, so strong and familiar she wondered how she could have missed it. This was Sora, the hero who had achieved more than she and her friends ever did. She'd found him.

Tears threatened to spill over, but she blinked them back rapidly. It took all her willpower not to run over there and bowel him over into a rib-crushing hug. Instead she pushed down her emotions and headed over to him, trying to remain calm and composed as ever. She didn't want to freak him out too badly; he didn't even remember her. She'd keep it together until she found Ven.

"Sora! You've grown so much, I almost didn't recognise you. It's me -- Aqua."

"You really remember that?" Aqua beamed. The more she talked to him, the more he reminded her of Ventus, just as he had as a child. "That's right, that was me. It's a long story... I'll explain later."

And a little too depressing of a conversation topic to go into now. There was only one thing on her mind. She knew, though, that she had information that could be vital to Sora, and she'd missed out on almost eleven years' worth of Xehanort wreaking havoc. They'd have to have a long talk later.

"Let's hurry to Ven. I wouldn't want him to wait any longer than he has to."

Aqua followed Sora towards his home, becoming quieter and quieter the closer they got. She'd waited such a long time for this, and Yen Sid's words echoed in her head as though it had been yesterday. Just as long as you love him... then Ventus will be able to find you when he wakes. He can follow that love back to where he belongs -- the Realm of Light. Was that what brought him to Traverse Town? And would it be enough to wake him?

She clasped her Wayfinder close to her heart, took a deep breath. She believed. She had to believe.

Pocketing the charm, she followed Sora into his room, and let out a cry as soon as she spotted her best friend. "Ven...!" She rushed to the bedside, kneeling and taking one of his hands in hers.

"Ven... I'm so glad you're safe." Another deep breath to steady herself. Gently, she touched his face with her other hand. Anything to let him know she was here. "It took me a long time, but I've finally come back to wake you up. I'm sorry Terra couldn't be here too... We'll find him together, won't we?"

She squeezed his hand, blinking back the tears stinging at her eyes. She'd stay here at Ven's side, however long it took for him to find his way back. She was beyond exhausted, but she'd stay, and watch, and wait... Anything for Ven.

"His heart is asleep," she responded, not taking her eyes off Ven, and not letting go of his hand. "If what Master Yen Sid told me is right... he just needs someone to be there for him, to show him the way. Then he'll wake up."

Then she finally tore her eyes away from her friend to look over her shoulder, studying Sora closely. He really did look so much like Ven, especially now he was grown up. "Do you know anything? If his heart isn't there at all, then..." Where else could it be?

Despite some of his previous performances, at this point neither of the others was there. Ven was still unresponsive, stretched out on Sora's bed in more comfort than Aqua had left him in in the Land of Departure. But though he'd manifested his Keyblade in front of both of them, nothing else was getting through - for the moment, he was a blank slate, almost a robot, totally unresponsive.

For the first several moments, anyway. It wasn't until Aqua had been holding his hand for quite awhile that Ven's fingers flexed on hers, just a slight bit - but as hard as she was concentrating on him, it would be impossible for her to miss that. It would be even more impossible for either of them to miss his arm raising, in a way both had seen before - and then the flash of light that came with every Keyblade around his hand, followed by the weapon itself.

Pointing directly at Sora.

The pose held for a good ten seconds, Ven absolutely silent and completely out of it otherwise, before the Keyblade disappeared and his arm fell at the same moment. He was back to being just another boy asleep, once again.

Aqua started in surprise when she felt Ven's fingers flex in hers. "Ven?" She squeezed his hand and held on more tightly, reassuring him as much as she could she was there. When he summoned his Keyblade she looked over her shoulder in wordless surprise. No portal this time, Sora was right... but it was a gesture she knew was obvious. He was telling them something.

"We were talking about where his heart could be, and he pointed at you..." she said slowly, her mind working even as she did so. "Sora, I don't think that would happen out of coincidence. Are you sure you don't know anything?"

Could it really be that Ven's heart was within Sora's? How, and why? Moreover, why didn't Sora know about it?
