*insert gummi ship tune*
Characters: Zack, Cloud, and Sephiroth
World | Location: Traverse Town, then probably Olympus.
Date | Content: Sometime before the Hades Cup. Sephiroth doesn't smile, so Zack and Cloud have to power a gummi ship for him. :|
Rating: D for Derp.
Zack was not at all surprised that Sephiroth found the fact that gummi ships supposedly ran on smiles totally insane. He'd seen the man smile maybe twice in all the years he'd known him. And he wasn't really surprised that Cloud had agreed to come along so quickly, either. Sephiroth was Cloud's hero, as much as it killed him to admit that.
The two were on their way to Traverse Town to fetch Sephiroth. How the gummi ship was staying afloat was anybody's guess since Zack was frowning deeply and Cloud was more than likely a bundle of nerves. Either that or trying not get sick.
The worlds getting overtaken by darkness he could understand - well, sort of. He didn't know why, but it'd happened, and he was able to accept it. What he could figure out was why everyone's memories were so skewed. Plus, there were those Cloud and Aerith twins. Sooo weird. It gave him a weird feeling in his gut, not to mention that he had pretend everything was hunky-dory. Sephiroth's glare as he turned into the flames he'd set on Nibelheim was still fresh in his mind like it'd happened just yesterday and not almost five years ago.
Luckily, Cloud seemed too nervous, excited, and slightly sick to notice Zack's weird mood. The two of them landed in Traverse Town without any fuss and Zack, as was becoming custom, helped Cloud out of the gummi ship onto solid ground. They stayed leaning against each other until Cloud deemed himself ready to go on. Luckily, the accessory shop was just a little ways away. Not that it mattered; anyone could spot Sephiroth a mile away, he imagined.
"Heyyy, Seph!"

"Heyyy, Seph!"

"Could you use my full name when yelling for me in public, Zack?" It was one thing to shorten it over the phone, but he didn't care for it to become too much of a habit for him.

Come to think of it, he hadn't been back here since he crash landed on his rear end. Or was it his head? Must've hit that pretty hard. Zack gave him some awfully funny looks sometimes.
"Sir!" He says before he can catch himself, nearly leaning over onto Zack for support after a sharp salute. Darn motion sickness pills making him drowsy.

Buuut Zack wasn't in the mood to stir things up. Instead he just grinned, both at Sephiroth and Cloud's words. Please, if he was going to get in trouble, he would've done so a looooong time ago.
"This is Cloud," he said by way of introduction, putting a hand on the small of Cloud's back as though that would keep him from falling over. The blond looked positively star-struck. Zack wasn't entirely sure how to feel about that. No way, he was very sure - he didn't like it. But he just continued to grin. "Cloud Strife. And Spike, of course, this is Seph. Oh, excuse me, Sephiroth."

"A pleasure to finally meet you in person, Strife."

Was that all he could manage? Probably. His blue eyes were as wide as they could possibly get as Sephiroth addressed him. Get ahold of yourself. Snapping out of his stupor, he finally offers a semblance of a confident smile. Sephiroth had said something about the army not being priority here.
He still had the utmost respect for the man.
"Thank you, Sir. It's an honor."
Finally turning his attention towards Zack, he looks like he's about to jump right out of his skin. If the medicine was causing him to be drowsy before, there was no sign of it now. He was practically beaming in his own Cloud-like way. There was no way he could properly thank him for giving him this opportunity. "Are we ready to go?"

Not that he could blame the kid. Zack himself had been a little awed when he'd first met the man. But still!
"Ready when you guys are." He managed a grin and jerked his thumb backwards. "Gummi ship's back there. Remember, Seph, it runs on smiles. So don't pull an Angeal and scowl at me the whole way there."
