[mass log] The Meeting

WHO: Anyone and everyone! All of star_kingdom!
LOCATION: Destiny Islands, the beach
TIME: Saturday, late morning onwards
WHAT: A group discussion on the threat of the darkness, and brainstorming a plan of action to save the worlds.
NOTES: The meeting will be done in the designated thread, with no tagging order. Action tags rather than prose to make things move more quickly, please! Zuko (and Tidus?) will try to steer the discussion and make sure it stays on topic, but aside from that, go nuts.


Zuko had spent the morning preparing for the meeting. It's pretty informal, all things considered; the chairs are set out in a loose circle, and nearby there's food and refreshments. It could actually pass for some kind of bizarre beach party, if it weren't for the seriousness of the subject matter.

Zuko's not all that nervous. His only concern is whether people will listen to him or even want to show up at all. He's not Fire Lord here, and it'll take more than a crown and a throne to make people take a sixteen-year-old seriously. Still, he's determined to prove himself. Moreso, he's determined to do whatever he can for his world, and all the other worlds, as well. If enough people come together to share their ideas, they're bound to come up with something.

I'm not sure why, but I'm just...very uncomfortable around a lot of people. [ People in general sometimes. ]

Do you think it would be okay? I don't want to be in anyone's way.

[ Meanwhile, Feathers chirpchirps at Daisy in turn. There aren't any other chocobo birds on Radiant Garden so she wants to take the opportunity to gossip and catch up with her sibling. ]

Some people are. And I don't see why it wouldn't be, you're here to try and help, right? That's what this whole thing is about as far as I can tell. Sometimes just knowing stuff is a lot more help than you think it is.

[The fact that they didn't know everything that was going on is a main reason why he and his friends lost to Xehanort. Ven knows that in hindsight now, and hates it.]

You got yours from Lili, right? She said she had two, so I guess they're the ones. This is Daisy. Or, Daisy McCloud, that's her full name.

[No, he didn't name her, but he didn't change the name either. And he smiles as she cheeps again, clearly aware of her own name.]

I know that, and that's not the one I'm talking about. :D

Um - actually, I got mine from Cloud.... but I think he might have gotten his from her so you could still be right.

[ Well technically Cloud started it with the offer, then he left and Lilli looked after them - and then... yeah. Sheesh. ]

I think Lili said she got them when Cloud disappeared... so yeah, I'd say they're the same two. I think Daisy's going to be too big for me to carry pretty soon.

[She cheeps at him and pecks at his hair; Ven grins and tugs the hair out of her beak, clearly that's something she does a lot.]

She came with the name, I just didn't change it. I think it fits her.

Feathers is the same way. She likes to walk sometimes, but it's easier to keep her close this way.

[ She giggles a little at the sight of Ven tugging his hair out of Daisy's beak. Feather's was fond of doing that with her hair ribbon too. ]

Yeah, I was gonna change it, but then I met her and it just... stuck. Why'd you name yours Feathers?

I don't know. She had a lot of feathers?

I guess I never really thought about it. [ Huh. Feathers, meanwhile, takes advantage of Terra's distraction to chirp and tug on her ponytail ribbon. Fortunately Terra tied it tighter so the poor little chocobo isn't strong enough to yank it free this time. ]
