LOCATION: Destiny Islands, the beach
TIME: Saturday, late morning onwards
WHAT: A group discussion on the threat of the darkness, and brainstorming a plan of action to save the worlds.
NOTES: The meeting will be done in the designated thread, with no tagging order. Action tags rather than prose to make things move more quickly, please! Zuko (and Tidus?) will try to steer the discussion and make sure it stays on topic, but aside from that, go nuts.


Zuko had spent the morning preparing for the meeting. It's pretty informal, all things considered; the chairs are set out in a loose circle, and nearby there's food and refreshments. It could actually pass for some kind of bizarre beach party, if it weren't for the seriousness of the subject matter.

Zuko's not all that nervous. His only concern is whether people will listen to him or even want to show up at all. He's not Fire Lord here, and it'll take more than a crown and a throne to make people take a sixteen-year-old seriously. Still, he's determined to prove himself. Moreso, he's determined to do whatever he can for his world, and all the other worlds, as well. If enough people come together to share their ideas, they're bound to come up with something.

BEFORE THE MEETING

[Any interaction before the meeting goes here. Go ahead and mingle, start conversation, say hi to familiar faces! It might be a while before everyone is gathered in one world like this again, so take advantage of it.]

[Zuko's hanging around long before the meeting starts. He's terrible when it comes to small talk with people, so mostly keeping to himself. But he'll be happy to field any questions or suggestions people might have. He'll also say hi to friends!]

[It had been sometime since Agni had spoken to Tidus, but knowing that he'd helped to arrange this meeting was part of the reason he decided to attend. The other reason being he did want to restore the worlds and return to his master. Spying Zuko off by himself, Agni couldn't resist approaching him]

Good morning, sir.

[Then he recalled the last time that he and Zuko had spoken on the communicator about the egg he found]

it's a pleasure to finally meet you in person. [He smiled genuinely]

Morning. [Zuko offers one of his rare smiles back, recognising Agni. He's surprised by the turnout so far -- pleasantly so -- and not everyone is here yet.]

Yeah, same here. Talking over communicators all the time isn't the same as meeting face-to-face.

[Time can quite easily sneak up on someone. And, in a way, so can Sailor Pluto. She seems to have appeared out of nowhere as her voice suddenly echoes right next to Zuko.]

You don't mind if I sit here, do you?

[Lmao not really a friend, but he can't resist to troll talk to him and hopefully, maybe, create some doubt before the meeting occurs. He spins and leans forward, wearing a vacant sort of smile.]

Why are all these strange people here?

[It would have been quite difficult to have missed the announcement about the upcoming meeting. Needless to say, Kaname wasn't expecting much.. considered those who actually seemed to know anything about the situation didn't seem to be in attendance. Ah, but it was better not to dismiss them so easily.. perhaps someone had managed to learn something of interest. The worst part about the meeting is that they had chosen to hold it not only during the day.. but also on one of the sunniest worlds. He kept to any shadows he could find and planned on just listening to what everyone had to offer]

[He noticed the person quietly remaining in the shadows, so of course his first reaction was to approach Kaname and smile brightly.]

Hi, thanks for coming. What's your name?

[Joining the more anti-social attendees.. Ciel decided better of approaching anyone. He only wanted to see if anyone had any actual suggestions for how they might get their own worlds back, he saw no need to share any of his own knowledge. His goals since arriving here had not changed but were unobtainable with the targets of his vengeance having allegedly been swallowed by the darkness... if the world and it's people could be restored, he could get on with his true goals]

[Oz hadn't really cared much about his world going into darkness, in fact he had been kind of glad, but since the dissappearence of his friend and the friends who had never turned up, Oz had started to think maybe trying to get the world back would be a good idea.

So, he had decided to attend the meeting, for the moment he wasn't paying all that much attention to the people around him like he would usually. Instead he had taken a different apprach and just kept to himself, more worried about his friends and hoping that the people here knew more than he did. He wanted to save them, no matter what after all.]

Icy refrained from getting too close to the vermin. It really didn't matter to her if they ever returned to their own worlds. So long as there was something to conquer. Still, this seemed like a prime opportunity to hear just what these idiots thought would be effective against the heartless. It wouldn't work, she'd see to it personally...

[Tidus still remembered Icy, the scar on his chest a reminder of that battle. Instead of feeling afraid, he approached her angrily just like he would with any other enemy of his.]

[Musa had heard the anoucement and had been rather... interested to say the least. She wanted her world back and if this helped them get one step closer to this goal then she was all in. Sitting upon the sand, she watched asmany others had started to come themselves, all the while wondering just how long the others had been here and also, if they had loved ones who were missing themselves.

She knew she couldn't show how she felt, she wasn't the type, but if she kept thinking about it... she was unsure of what would happen.]

[The sand beside Musa shifts a little, falling away as a hand bursts out. Undertaker had also been curious about the meeting but some how in waiting for the meeting to start he found himself buried in the sand. Maybe he did it because he thought it would be funny. ]

[Fabulous. One of the pixie loser division was here. Just what the witch wanted to see. Not. She kept her distance but the oh so delicious idea of doing something to either disrupt the meeting or at the very least torment Musa were ever present]

[Fai had arrived on this world, knowing that he hadn't gotten any notes about it, so it was his next stop and on the way to learning, decided to stop by the meeting he had heard about. So with a Sea-salt ice cream he had brought on his way to it, he was eating happily, keeping his distance and just thinking about what they could learn from this.]

[ Terra's waiting, looking around for Ventus. he's seriously not going to this meeting without him. especially since he doesn't know everyone who hasn't been lost to the Darkness and he does ]

[Of course when Tidus sees Terra, he screams at the top of his lungs so that everyone can hear.]

[He doesn't know everybody, but he does know a pretty good number of people. Ven arrived early to try and find the current trio, but hasn't had any luck spotting any of them but Kairi - which is starting to worry him. A lot. But he spots Terra off in the crowd and of course zooms over to him like a needle to a magnet.]

[ It took Terra a bit to arrive, if only because she hadn't been sure of a few things. But she knew Destiny Islands, and she couldn't leave Feathers behind, so she made her way to the meeting. And... uh... well she's not going in. She had no idea there would be so many people! D: ]

[Ven's been on the islands for awhile, trying to find some certain people. He didn't know how long this would take, or if he'd be staying overnight, so he'd brought Daisy with him. She was currently content to sit on his shoulder, though, almost disguised with his hair. But he spots Terra ahead, looking... apprehensive? Or scared? and makes his way over to her.]

[Kairi stares off at the sea, hands behind her back as lips turned into a smile slightly. It was always nice to once in a while watch the sun against the ocean, it was almost...calming to say the least and given what this meeting was about, sometimes being calm was the best way to go.]

THE MEETING

Thanks for coming, everyone. [From where Zuko's seated, he moves to stand at his full height, and begins to speak loud enough that he would have everyone's undivided attention. Time to kick things off.]

Here's how this is going to work. One person talks at a time. If you want to talk, you stand up. Even if you disagree with someone, show them respect and wait your turn. Don't interrupt or talk over other people. That way, it's fair and everyone has their say.

[It was how things were done in the Fire Nation, and, he hoped, it would work well here too. Zuko continues on.]

So... First we'll start with exactly what we know about the Heartless. Stopping them has to be the best way to protect the worlds. I heard about a weapon that can destroy them permanently, but I have no idea what it is or where to find it. Maybe it's just a story. If anyone has any better ideas, or any other important information on the Heartless you think we should all know, that'd be welcome too.

[His part said, Zuko sits back down, leaving the floor open for whoever wants to speak first.]

[One had to stand in order to speak? It was a style of debate that wasn’t uncommon and Eagle didn’t even hesitate to stand and offer his opinion on the matter. ]

I have also heard about the weapon that can permanently destroy the heartless. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find very much more information about it than that.

[Though that young girl he had talked to about these weapons had spoken with such authority on the subject… it did make him curious about her. ]

If anyone is able to provide any more information on that subject I would be very interested to hear it.

[Eagle hadn’t stood just to second Zuko’s appeal for information however, he also did have something to contribute. ]

Some of you might be aware or even have seen the transmission I sent some time ago. I have been investigating the heartless by traveling to each world. Most troubling to me were the data sets I gained that seemed to indicate that certain kinds of heartless, those with emblems, might actually have been artificially created.
Does anyone have any idea how this could have happened or who might be creating heartless? On top of trying to destroy the heartless consuming worlds we have to be careful to prevent their numbers from being artificially inflated.

[Imparting such dire news, and so soon after this little gathering had started, was not something he enjoyed doing but it felt essential to reclaiming the worlds already lost to the darkness. With those things said Eagle took his seat again and listened carefully to what the next speaker would have to say. ]
